Dave Rawlings CEO

Dave Rawlings is a proven business leader with financial and operational management expertise in a wide array of industries. He has extensive experience with capital formation and a history of creating significant business value and realizing that value through a successful and profitable M&A event. In early 2007, Mr. Rawlings joined TalkFree as chief financial officer and he has been chief executive officer since July 2008. As TalkFree's CEO, he is responsible for overseeing the company's various financial initiatives, strategic relationships and operational and administrative functions. Mr. Rawlings spent five years as an associate at Barclays Capital and he has been a high-level executive with six startups including PeerLogic, Mindfabric, Sygate, Blue Titan and Healthline. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University and an MBA in finance and accounting from Tulane University.

Eric Scheele COO / EVP Sales

Eric Scheele is a visionary entrepreneur and business builder with a track record of launching and growing successful telecommunications companies. Since co-founding TalkFree in 2003, Mr. Scheele has overseen the company's business development and rapid sales growth from regional player to internationally recognized brand. Before co-founding TalkFree, he launched several high-growth VoIP and web-centric companies including 2freeCall, PC2PhoneInfo, NoToll and PCCall2. Mr. Scheele holds Bachelor in Chemistry and Bachelor in Education degrees with minors in biology and physics from Kansas State University. He also earned a Master of Applied Science degree from Baker University.

Colin Brown Director, Network Operations

Colin Brown has nearly 15 years of experience with VoIP technology and platforms, network architecture, operations, engineering, protocols, routing structure and tables. As director of network operations, he is responsible for TalkFree's network development and management, day-to-day operations, engineering and support groups. Prior to joining TalkFree, Mr. Brown was director of network operations for Global Convergence Solutions, operations engineer for TNSI and senior NSS engineer for ITXC where he designed and built the company's POP network facilities, configured, deployed and maintained gateways and switching equipment, managed platform interoperability projects, handled high level escalations, coordinated on-site repairs and managed a VoIP lab, among other efforts. 

Jean Templin Director, Product Marketing

Jean Templin is an experienced, results-driven marketing executive with a track record of driving double-digit growth of cutting-edge mobile VoIP solutions in emerging wireless markets. She has a comprehensive background in strategic planning, sales, marketing and operations for Internet and telecom companies. As TalkFree's director of product marketing, Ms. Templin drives the company's innovative global product marketing strategies, branding, public relations, viral marketing and lead development, as well as channel research and development. Prior to joining TalkFree, she was product and general manager for Datacube, an enterprise software firm. She also held development and marketing positions at ATX Communications, Startec and Alcatel Network Services. Ms. Templin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and International Business with a minor in German, and an MBA from Temple University.

Ona D. Stewart Director, Routing and Buying

Ona Stewart is a 10-year veteran of international VoIP markets. He has a deep understanding of telecommunications technology, equipment and international routes, and extensive experience with VoIP networks, switching and routing techniques and processes. As TalkFree's director of routing and buying, Mr. Stewart oversees all of the company's routing and buying activities. He also works closely with TalkFree's development team to enhance and refine the company's proprietary routing technology.  Mr. Stewart began his VoIP career as senior sales manager and buyer for Mediaring. He also was a buyer for Deltathree, supporting the company's international long distance and least cost routing efforts.
