Robert H. Turner
Chairman of the Board
Robert H. Turner brings a wealth of experience to Talk Free, serving as Chairman of the Board. As a veteran of the telecommunications industry, Turner founded and oversees Turner Telecom Holdings Group, LLC, and has over 30 years of experience at firms such as AT&T, IP Deliver, Southern Bell Telephone, and many more.
Prior to joining Talk Free, Mr. Turner was Chairman and Executive Consultant at LastMile Communications and is currently on the board of Pandora Networks. He has a BS and an MBA from the University of South Carolina.
Mike Scheele
Chief Executive Officer
Michael Scheele founded TalkFree in early 2004 and, as CEO and member of the board, has overseen the company's rapid growth from a regional to an internationally recognized brand. He began his career simultaneously with the birth of competitive telephony while working at GTE Sprint in 1985. He continued to hold senior sales and consulting positions at Coopers and Lybrand and the Teleport Communication Group.
Mr. Scheele's entrepreneurial career, which started in 1995 when he founded his own consulting firm, M.J. Scheele and Associates, has seen him start five companies and achieve up to 50x returns for his investors. His prior ventures, New Global Telecom, Rate Exchange, I.P. Deliver, and Telecom Asset Management have made him a recognized leader in the telecomunnications industry and uniquely positioned to make his newest and largest investment to date, in Talk Free, Inc.
Dave Rawlings
Chief Financial Officer
Dave Rawlings joined Talk Free with nearly 20 years of experience in the financial industry and in senior accounting roles. At Talk Free he is responsible for overseeing the company's various financial initiatives and administrative functions.
Before joining Talk Free, Mr. Rawlings held numerous roles at financial and technology firms. He began his career as a branch manager at The Provident Bank and quickly progressed to become an Associate at Barclays Capital Group before he moved on to hold senior roles at the likes of MindFabric Inc and Healthline Networks.
Mr. Rawlings holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Tulane University.
Eric Scheele
Executive Vice President of Sales
After launching successive affiliated web presences, including 2FreeCall, PC2PhoneInfo, NoToll, and PCCall2, Eric Scheele attracted a partnership with his brother and Chief Executive Officer, Mike Scheele, in January of 2003 to form Talk Free, Inc..
Mr. Scheele graduated in 1991 with Chemistry and Education Degrees, with a minor in Biology and Physics, from Kansas State University. In 1995, he obtained his Masters of Applied Science from Baker University.
Daoud Naouri
Senior Sales Director
Daoud Naouri has been with TalkFree since its inception and has been instrumental in opening new global markets in Central/South America, Africa, Middle East and Asia . His deep knowledge of the nuances within each market has been key to TalkFree's Global success in numerous countries.
Prior to TalkFree, Mr. Naouri held Account Executive roles in the advertising industry and before that was the co-founder of LevelTree Branding, a promotional marketing and advertising company. Mr. Naouri graduated in 1995 with a degree in Art and Art History with a minor in Religion from Luther College.
Joi Teets Joi Teets, TalkFree, Inc.
Executive Director, Marketing Communications for TalkFree
Joi Teets is a telecom industry veteran with 15 years of experience working at GTE, Sprint and MCI. Ms. Teets is a product marketing and sales support professional recognized for her leadership and innovation in the industry. Joi Teets has created, managed and directed national sales and support channels as well as developed numerous vertical and strategic marketing programs. She has a BS in Marketing from the University of Oregon.
